Halifax boys tennis picks up fourth win

SoVaNow.com / April 03, 2014
Halifax dominated Martinsville in Piedmont district regular season action, posting an 8-1 win Monday.

“Overall this was another solid effort top to bottom. The entire team played strong from star to finish. We had two tiebreak situations, and split them, but there was still really sound play in both,” said coach David Riddle.

“We were able to get a lot of people into matches today, which is great early in the season. We have stressed to the guys that this is an entire team effort. There are no egos on this team. They all do what is asked, even when asked to step into different situations,” Riddle said.

HCHS are now 4-0.
