Born in Halifax County on April 27, 1997, to Ronnie Hodges and Delores Terry, she was a ninth grade student at Halifax County High School and attended New Mt. Olive Apostolic Church and Berry Hill Baptist Church.
Ms. Hodges is survived by her father, of the home, her mother of South Boston, two sisters, Shenique Terry and Rita Terry, both of South Boston and a brother, Nathaniel Terry, also of South Boston, her grandparents, Carry Hodges of South Boston and Gene and Arnitha Terry of Halifax, two nieces, Zariah Gomes and Damiah Womack, two nephews, Jaylan Terry and Jamaryon Terry, four aunts, Susie Hodges and Carolyn Burden, both of South Boston, Mary Hodges of Petersburg and Nancy Doomes of Halifax, four uncles, Howard Hodges Jr. of Copperas Cove Texas, Kenneth Hodges and wife, Mary of South Boston, William Terry and wife, Debra and James Terry, all of Halifax and a host of cousins including the devoted ZaTalya Harris of South Boston, other relatives and friends including the devoted Jenita Jordan.
A funeral will be held on Saturday, May 18 at 1 p.m. at Berry Hill Baptist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
The family is receiving friends at the home of Cary Hodges, 1158 River Road, South Boston.
Public viewing for family and friends will be Friday from 10 a.m.-8 p.m. at Jeffress Funeral Home.
