Margaret Shelton Price

Margaret Shelton Price, 83, of Chase City, passed away on Feb. 15, 2013.

She was born on April 2, 1929 in Lunenburg County to the late Durrell and Maggie Shelton. She was a member of Faith Baptist Tabernacle Church.

She is survived by her sons, James E. Price and wife Nadine, William G. Price and wife Brenda, Harold E. Price and wife Virginia, David R. Price and wife Betty, and Mark A. Price all of Chase City, one brother, Alton E. Shelton; twelve grandchildren, thirty six great-grandchildren, twelve great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is predeceased by one brother, Harry Shelton; two sisters, Mildred Hicks and Vertie Townsend; and two grandchildren.

A funeral was held Sunday, Feb. 17, at 2:00 p.m. at the Newcomb Allgood Funeral Home chapel. Interment followed at Mt. Zion Baptist Church.

Visitation was held on Saturday, Feb. 16, Newcomb Allgood Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
