Obituaries

James Edward Boulden Sr.

On Friday, Aug. 10, 2012, God closed the eyes of our beloved husband, father, grandfather and brother, James Edward Boulden Sr. James was born on Feb. 22, 1942 in South Boston, to the late Dorothy F. Jennings.

He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Melody Boulden of South Boston; brother, Bill Boulden of South Boston; four sons, Eric Boulden, James Edward Boulden Jr., David Boulden, and Corey Williams; three daughters, Tyronda Boulden, Tiffany Boulden, and Delia Barnette; eight grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews and a faithful friend, Bernard Womack.

A memorial will be held in celebration of his life on Saturday, Aug. 18, from noon-2 p.m. at 102 Edmondson Avenue, South Boston. All family and friends are invited to attend.
