Cynthia Lee Dunaway Francis

Cynthia Lee Dunaway Francis of Sutherlin died Monday, Jan. 7, 2013 at her home. Born in Halifax County on Aug. 8, 1975, she was 37 at the time of her death. She was the daughter of Tex Junior Dunaway and Janice Martin Dunaway who survive. She is also survived by her husband, James N. Francis.

In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Francis is survived by two sons, James N. Francis Jr. of Chatham and Sean Michael Francis of Sutherlin and a daughter, Sabrina N. Francis of Sutherlin, her parental grandmother, Gertrude Martin of Carpenter Wy., and her paternal grandmother, Mildred Medley Dunaway of Java, a brother, Tex Manning Dunaway and Tiffany Ann of Carpenter Wy., a sister Janet Lynn Reidhead and William Lafe of Bay City, Texas. She was preceded in death by a brother, Shawn Dunaway.

A graveside service for Mrs. Francis will be held Thursday, Jan. 10 at 2 p.m. at Emanuel Episcopal Church cemetery with the Rev. Dan Ward officiating. Online condolences may be directed to http://www.powellfuneralscom. Arrangements are by Powell Funeral Home.
