Prizery alum makes national news
SoVaNow.com / December 26, 2012An alumnus of The Prizery’s Summer Theatre musicals recently got some airtime on the “ABC News.”
Joseph Rosko, who performed in the first season, was interviewed by television journalist Christiane Amanpour as part of a series on the history of the Bible. Rosko is currently starring as Joseph in what the news show dubbed “Christian Broadway” just outside Branson, Mo.
The Bible-based musicals, which feature camels and sheep, rival production values on Broadway while attracting Christian theatre-goers from around the country. This season alone, the theatre has grossed $40 million, the network reports.
The cast and crew are all Christians.
Rosko, an Ohio native who graduated from Coastal Carolina University, worked here in the summer of 2010, when he played Drake in “Annie,” Lucky in “Dames at Sea” and sang and danced in “All Night Strut.”
