Four charged in Task Force indictments
SoVaNow.com / April 04, 2013Four local men have been arrested on indictments from the Halifax Regional Narcotic and Gang Task Force.
Arrested on March 26 was Marlon Lee Williams, 29, of Pine Heights Trail, Halifax. He was charged by South Boston Police Officer R.J. Mead with one count of distribution of cocaine, one count of distribution of imitation cocaine and two counts of conspiring to distribute cocaine.
Also arrested on March 26 was Junior Willie Williams, Jr., 33 of Edmunds Street, South Boston. Williams was charged with two counts of distribution of cocaine, third or subsequent offenses and one count of conspiring to distribute cocaine. Officer R. J. Mead made the arrest.
Edward Junior Graves, 49, of 49 Straightstone Road, Long Island was arrested on March 26 by a member of the Pittsylvania County Sheriff’s Department. He was charged with six counts of distribution of cocaine, third or subsequent offenses, one count of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and one count of possession of ammunition by a convicted felon.
Earlier on February 5, Joshua Allen Howerton, 23, of Birch Elmo Road, South Boston was arrested by Senior Virginia State Trooper Phillip Leath during a traffic stop for having defective equipment.
Howerton had been indicted by the Task Force on four separate counts of distribution of cocaine.
