Clarksville hosts busy Halloween lineup of events
SoVaNow.com / October 24, 2012Next Tuesday, Oct. 30, the Virginia Avenue Mall in Clarksville will host its annual Halloween Parade and Carnival. There will be costume parades for newborns through fifth graders starting at 1:15 p.m. This event runs from 1-4:30 p.m. There will be food and games for the whole family. Visit the Mall to cheer on the Parade participants … you’ll see neat ghosts and goblins, along with pretty princesses and rugged pirates! For more information call 434-374-5949.
On Wednesday, October 31, Clarksville will celebrate its fifth annual “Trick or Treat on the Streets” event. Children all dressed up in creative costumes are invited to come out for this Spooktacular evening from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. More than 30 merchants and organizations will participate by dressing up and passing out candy along Virginia Avenue. MeadowView Terrace will host its night of candy and fun, Thursday, October 25 from 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.
The House of Prayer at 6793 Hwy. 58 (next to Morningstar’s Bed, Bath & Curtain Outlet) invites you to join them next Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. for their Fall Festival. Everyone is welcome to come. For more information, call (434) 374-2007.
