American Pickers is a documentary series that explores “the fascinating world of antique picking” by following Wolfe and Fritz as they hopscotch across America in search of “interesting characters with lots of interesting items,” explains their publicist, Sarah Moore of Cineflix Inc.

The Pickers don’t go to shops, antiques malls, or flea markets, and Moore said “we’re not currently looking for any fine furniture, agricultural or farming items/equipment, depression glass, or pottery.” But, if you have any of the items on their “wanted list” and an “interesting story to tell,” you just might find yourself on American Pickers.

The show, which appears on the History Channel, is in its fifth season, and offers insight into what it’s like to be on the frontlines of the antique industry searching junkyards and barns for long forgotten, valuable antiques.

Moore says of the show, “Mike and Frank bring the past to life and recycle America as they go. On the way, we explore how our pickers strike the ultimate deal and discover just what it takes to renovate and re-sell a newly found antique in a competitive market.”

If you think you have a collection for the American Pickers, Moore ask that you e-mail your name, phone number, town, state and a description of the items along with pictures you think the Wolfe and Fritz will be interested in to .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address), or call and leave a message at (646) 493-2184.

From what I've seen on their show, all they do is low ball people on their stuff. You'd be better off selling it on EBay or to a local antique place instead of dealing with these jokers.
