Youths stage ‘Songs of Broadway’ this weekend in Clarksville
SoVaNow.com / August 07, 2013Cast members with the upcoming Clarksville Community Youth Theater production of “Songs of Broadway” have polished up the show, which runs Saturday and Sunday at the Clarksville Fine Arts Center.
According to the show’s producers, Josh and Georgene Glasscock, it is a revue showcasing some of the best-ever moments of musical theatre in one night of entertainment.
A few of the selections that the cast will perform are “I Cain’t Say No” from Oklahoma, “Mr. Cellophane” from Chicago, and “Music of the Night” from Phantom of the Opera.
Cast members for “Songs of Broadway” include Zachary Glasscock, Lydia Snead, Lexi Hendrick, Clint Whitten, Melanie Barden, Jessica Lynn, Katie Holland, Victoria Pope, Christian Roach, Scott Caldwell, Mikayla Debra Winn, Lucas Glasscock, Regan Booths, Evan Snead, Caleb Greene, Gabrielle Condecido, Adrienne Hudson, Emily Randall, Forrest Goodwin, Kaleigh Long, Emily Hunt, JoBeth Hardin, Taylor Moore, Charis Chalmers and Christiana Lynn.
Tickets are $10 and can be purchased at the box office.
There are only two performances for this show: Saturday, at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, at 3:00 p.m.
