Plans go forward for South Hill Spring Fest
SoVaNow.com / February 20, 2013The South Hill Revitalization Committee is planning the 12th annual Spring Fest for Saturday, May 18, rain or shine, from 10 a.m.-3 p.m.
Again this year, Mecklenburg Avenue will be closed from the downtown East Atlantic Street stoplight all the way around to Boyd of South Hill as the town gathers to celebrate the spring season. Downtown businesses will be open with their wares on the street, and other vendors and organizations will join in for a sidewalk sale-type event.
Spring Fest booth spaces are now available for $30 each, so call 434-447-4547 today to reserve your space before they are sold out.
Each year, more and more people turn out to enjoy Spring Fest, which features games and activities for the children, music and food for everyone, and shopping opportunities throughout the day. You can walk the venue to see what local merchants are offering, and be sure to look for prizes, registration boxes and giveaways from Spring Fest vendors.
